Does leadership matter?

Course taught for MPA Student at Sciences Po and for IES Abroad in Paris.
The goal of the course was to analyze what leadership means and to provide students with resources to enhance their own leadership abilities. This course evaluated theoretical models of leadership and leadership characteristics in different sectors of activities: politics, business, public sector and international affairs. We also considered leadership in various cultural contexts and looked for commonalities of leadership that are recognized across cultures. Throughout the course, we especially focused on issues that decision makers have to face: ethical challenges, conflict negotiation, team building, and leading change in a global environment.
